Located in Zanzibar’s historical, maze-like Stone Town, the 18th Century building of the House of Spices serves as a popular restaurant as well as a small and charming boutique hotel.
There are 4 rooms within the House of Spices, which are all named after a different spice, and feature traditional interior decorations, like four poster Zanzibar beds, flowing mosquito nets, brightly coloured tiles, dressing screens and lamps. This is your very own home from home in Stone Town!
The restaurant is located on the top floor of the building, and gives diners a fantastic view over the bustling town, which they can take in whilst enjoying beverages and a fine selection of freshly cooked Mediterranean dishes. Pizzas are a speciality to this restaurant, as their large stone oven provides you with a perfectly cooked pizza.
