Milele Villas is an eco-friendly and self sufficient accommodation situated on the North-Western tip of the island of Zanzibar.

The villas are located on the beach-front, and have an un-obstructed and fantastic view over the beautiful Indian Ocean – especially during sunsets.

Milele is only available for private rental, ensuring that guests receive much more privacy than they may do at other accommodations.

Emphasis has been put on ensuring that the villas are environmentally friendly, with electricity coming from wind power – you will see the turbine located behind the main villa spinning (this also means that the villa will have power during frequent electricity blackouts), water is heated by the sun and stored in a solar tank, and the majority of furniture is crafted from recycled dhow (Arabic boat) wood.

There is an on-site chef at the villas, who will ensure that your every food need is catered for, and will cook using a mixture of freshly picked fruits, vegetables and spices. Beach barbeques are also a very popular option.

A wide variety of facilities are available at Milele, including the infinity swimming pool - which overlooks the ocean, a telescope for viewing the stars at night, TV and DVD player, sea-kayaks, bicycles and a volley ball court. Optional sessions of Yoga/ Reiki, as well as spa and massage treatments are also available upon request.
