The Red Monkey Lodge in Jambiani recently changed management... and with the new management almost all changed. The former run-down place is newly furbished, and it is now a fine, simple beach hotel: cozy atmosphere with good, personalised service, 5 star food. Barefoot paradise!

All 9 rooms have been renovated, and furnished with beautiful Dhow furniture. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, with hot and cold water. There are single, double, triple rooms available, all facing directly the beach and the Indian Ocean. The whole hotel is a free WIFI Zone.

The restaurant offers an a la carte menu, light dishes for lunch, and a daily changing four course menus. There is a wide selection of wines, local beers and cocktails available.

The hotel organises cultural villages tours in Jambiani, swimming with dolphins at Kizimkazi, diving, sailing, bike tours, visits of the nearby caves, deep sea fishing, and has a kite centre.

The Red Monkey Lodge regularly organise sea food barbecues on the beach, and occasionally beach parties.
